Vland is a product providing Virtual Space as a Service (VSaaS) by the merging of gamification scene generation, real-time voice & video streamlines, and virtual social identification. I worked as the product designer of this project to define and deliver easy-to-start virtual space production services to acquire business clients. This project is an example of how I balance user needs and technical constraints in an intensive work environment. I dramatically simplified the user experience by leading users to the most efficient work flows, hiding and automating the complicated design, and developing rules.

People with moderate to severe visual impairment (MSVI) account for the largest proportion of the visually impaired group. Although they have light perception, the problem of limited vision could still make their everyday task difficult, because it always requires extra time and energy for them to access something nearby. In this project “Findit”, we designed a mixed-reality-driven solution for HoloLens together with an App on mobile devices to help user’s find daily items quicker and easier. In brief, the dual combines mixed reality and machine learnning to provide location-data-based guide for users, and collected personalized information such as voice tags for possible extension. When needed, the App will also help users to contact family members and friends for extra assistance.
